The Winter of 1999 - 2000 on Mount Sunapee, New Hampshire and in Cornish, New Hampshire

| I have been long fascinated with the play of light; winter provides some exceptional opportunities to explore this obsession. On one end of the specturm you have the the simple and subtle: gentle, graceful curves all in white. Shapes bathed in white gain added importance without the disctractions of garish colors. Winter also provides plenty of opportunities for the dramatic such as trees after an ice storm glittering against deep blue skies. |
